Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Skills Screen

The Manage Skills screen lists all of the skills in a table with the following column.

Columns

Column Description
Skill Name This column displays the name of the skill.

Actions

The icon in the Actions column perform the following functions.

Icon Action Description
Edit To edit the skill name, click this icon.
Deactivate If the skill is active the icon displays and the skill is available throughout Deltek Talent Management. To remove it from being used by end users, click this icon to deactivate it and display this icon.
Delete Click this icon to delete the skill. If the skill is currently in use anywhere Deltek Talent Management, you cannot delete it.
